Max Masleyev
Graduate Student
Teaching Assistant (Fall 2026 - Spring 2027)
Research Interests:
I graduated from Cornell University in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in atmospheric science and a minor in computer science. I've been drawn to weather my whole life, but in undergrad, I also started connecting this passion with new skill sets in programming and machine learning. Now, I'm interested in furthering our forecasting and modeling capabilities with the newest computational methods, especially in the face of extreme weather events that send rippling impacts through society. With internship experience at NOAA, the Disaster Research Center, and Blue Hill Observatory, I bring an operational and community perspective that highlights the importance of this work and motivates my research goals.
