New study, co-authored by AOSC professor Ross Salawitch and alumnus Laura McBride, investigates the 17-year discrepancy in projections for ozone recovery timelines, highlighting gaps in global reporting, compliance, and opportunities for action—as well as the ongoing impact of emissions from feedstocks and legacy equipment containing ozone-depleting substances.
