My research looks at how we can use machine learning tools to diagnose how severe weather events, especially extreme heat and hurricanes, are being altered among climate change. I would also like to explore how we can better communicate this information to at-risk communities who are affected by these climate extremes. My hope is that we can better plan for severe weather hazards in the future.
