The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has elected AOSC Professor William Lau among 489 newly elected fellows for 2020.

Web of Science has honored Dr. Zhanqing Li, Professor at the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science and ESSIC of the University of Maryland, as a Highly Cited Researcher, an honor bestowed to fewer than 6,200, or about 0.1%, of the world’s researchers, in 21 research fields and across multiple fields.
